Prostitution – Information – Counseling

At PIA Hessen you will find a lot of important information about prostitution. We explain the law regarding the protection of prostitutes (Prostituiertenschutzgesetz) and you will find information on topics such as health, pregnancy, coercion and violence.

You can also find a list of counseling centers in Darmstadt, Frankfurt, Kassel and Marburg at PIA Hessen. At these counseling centers you can get advice on various topics concerning your work and life in Germany. The counseling is free of charge and anonymous.

Even if you don’t have health insurance, you can still be examined by a doctor free of charge. At PIA Hessen, we have compiled a list of free services for people without health insurance in Hessen. You can find contact points where you can be examined for HIV and sexually transmitted diseases here.
